This should be an easy one for anyone thats "Been there, done that": Install glass blue dots in Harley plastic tail-light lens (outer round stop lights on Heritage Softail).
I've bought the blue dots, now I'm wondering exactly
how I can drill the holes without ruining the plastic (o.k., drill very carefully!); but the hole should be about 15/16 and thats a huge drill bit to own, much less try to drill through a fragile plastic lens! Help

JP's site had a customer that wrote this:
"I thought I would have problems installing, but worked like a dream. Used a Hot nail to put a small hole in the center then a hole saw (super slow) to cut the hole. Finished it with a file and siliconed it in."
Me personally, being the fact that they ARE illegal in some states and that I easily grow tired with certain looks on my ride, I would just buy a lens with the dot on it and have the stock in reserve. That's just me though. Thanks for stopping by my site.
